Greg Angle: The American Hospital Association Improves Health Care

With extensive administrative leadership experience at health care institutions in California, Arizona, and Texas, Greg Angle has a successful record in such areas as strategic planning and building multidisciplinary teams. He is the Ventura Area board chair for the Hospital Association of Southern California.

A national organization representing patients, hospitals, and health care networks, the American Hospital Association (AHA) promotes improved health care quality in the areas of public policy advocacy and education. With offices in Washington, D.C., and in Chicago, the AHA has served its mission since its founding in 1898.

Forty thousand individuals, care providers, networks, systems, and almost 5,000 hospitals across the United States constitute the American Hospital Association. Members have educational resources, such as the comprehensive and up-to-date HEALTH (Health Planning and Administration) database.

When members raise their voices and express needs, AHA represents their needs with a range of advocacy actions. The AHA is involved in public policy development at the national level, in regulatory issues, and in judicial matters.
