Currently the Mountain Division president for Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), Greg Angle has worked in the health care industry for more than 30 years. In his free time, Greg Angle enjoys supporting the arts through serving as a board member for the Alliance for the Arts.
The Alliance for the Arts focuses on bringing cultural activities, including visual and performance arts, to the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. Each year, the organization honors individuals and companies for service to the city’s arts at its Through the Looking Glass Gala. In 2013, the Alliance honored Richard Goodrich, a longtime supporter of the arts who has served on the organization’s board since 1988.
Other honorees included prominent cellist Andrew Janss, who received the Distinguished Young Artist award, and Alan Rose, who has taught music education for 33 years in the Conejo Valley Unified School District. The 2013 corporate leader in the arts was Silver Star Automotive Group, which has given generously year after year not only to the Alliance for the Arts, but also to various children’s charities throughout California.
